Farming also instilled in him a great work ethic and an appreciation for people who do business with integrity.

Meet Matt Bitter, Rexburg Idaho Realtor

While working on the family farm Matt became a volunteer EMT and later decided to pursue emergency medicine as a career. He worked for many years as a firefighter/EMT and Paramedic at Madison Fire Department in Rexburg, Idaho. During this time he also developed a greater interest and enthusiasm for real estate. This started with buying/selling houses, owning rental real estate and investing in other real estate projects including residential land development. Matt recently worked to develop the Diamond Acres subdivision in the Hibbard area, bringing high quality, larger acreage lots to the Rexburg area.

During his work on Diamond Acres, Matt made it a priority to look at all issues that would be affected by the project. These included local communities, land use regulations, water and irrigation rights, and CCR/HOA considerations. When asked about this project he commented,  “I think we were successful with Diamond Acres. Our goal was to build a great community that people want to live in while also keeping the impact to the surrounding communities to a minimum. We also wanted to ensure that we use water correctly and wisely given that it’s such an important resource to so many in Idaho for their properties and livelihood.”

Through his dealings in real estate, Matt has learned the value that creative and hard working realtors can bring to any real estate transaction. This knowledge encouraged him to become a realtor. Matt understands fully that the purchase of a home or property is a significant decision and investment in a persons life. His goal is to provide the highest level of service and expertise to individuals and families in the purchase of their dream Idaho property or home.
