Kent Clawson, Idaho Realtor
Prior to embarking on his journey of marriage and raising a family across various locations in the United States and the Middle East, Kent hailed from humble beginnings as a farm kid in Rexburg. After completing his education at Madison High School, his initial plan was to work on local farms until his uncle encouraged him to pursue additional coursework at EITC (now known as the College of Eastern Idaho) in order to secure a position at the site. Simultaneously, his father always imparted the advice, "You can reside in Rexburg, but I strongly urge you to venture out so you may gain perspective." Little did any of us realize the profound impact these two pieces of sagacious guidance would have on Kent and his family.
Following relocations to Utah, Michigan, Colorado, and Tennessee, known humorously as the "Clawson Chaos," Kent and his family decided it was time to employ their skills overseas. They spent nine years residing in Saudi Arabia and Qatar in the Middle East, while Idaho consistently served as their summer home base, affording them the opportunity to spend quality time with grandparents, extended family, and friends. When the COVID-19 pandemic unfolded, the family concluded that it might be prudent to establish Idaho as their year-round headquarters.
Decades after receiving his father's counsel, in addition to the emotional connections with family and friends, the easy accessibility to remarkable outdoor experiences, a nurturing community spirit, secure neighborhoods, and a multitude of other factors, it becomes readily apparent why Kent and his family returned to Idaho.
Having acquired real estate properties in three different states, both as personal residences and investment ventures, Kent approaches the real estate industry with a consumer-oriented mindset. He enters this field to ensure that both buyers and sellers have a formidable advocate in their corner, a support he himself had not always experienced. Whether it is your inaugural home purchase or your long-term "Forever Home," Kent relishes the opportunity to strategize methods that guarantee you attain the utmost value, while proactively addressing any potential pitfalls at the earliest stages.
