The Branch Keyhole Ranch, located just below the West Mountains in central, Idaho, covering an area of rolling hills and broken drainages, with West Mountain to the east. The West Mountain area is part of the Forest Service Grazing lease. The ranch consists of 10,705 deeded acres along with over 86,673 acres of grazing leases. Historically the ranch grazed approximately 950 pair, from April through early December, with enough hay grown and feed lots to support the herd. Over 600 acres of irrigation and another 600 acres of dry, farmed area, in the Crane Creek Valley. 5 pivots, wheel lines. The Little Weiser River flows through the property along with the South Fork of Grays Creek, and King Creek. Many other small tributaries and springs form the property, making it a highly productive grazing ranch. Wildlife consists of elk, mule deer, turkey, bear, along with upland birds. This versatile, summer grazing ranch has some of the best grass in southern Idaho, seeing gains on calves of 2.5 pounds per day or more.
